Project Manager

As the Project Manager you will work closely with the Director of Project Management and account team leads in the planning of agency project workflow. This will entail ongoing and proactive communication with the internal team, as well as monitoring and reporting on project status and milestones. Ongoing updates of workflow status in the agency’s job traffic software will be required. Growth in this role will be tied to increasing understanding of and guidance provided on scheduling and agency (staff) resource allocation. Additional tactical responsibilities supporting agency initiatives and business development efforts are to be anticipated.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support workflow planning and project management, collaborating with account service and channel owners (creative, digital, interactive).
  • Coordinate project schedules, deadlines and resource allocation based on project scope.
  • Support Director of Project Management in the assessment of team capacity, workload and utilization of team members.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays that might arise.
  • Daily, ongoing updates of project status in agency traffic software.
  • Promote open communication and teamwork among team members to foster collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project briefs and status reports. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 2-3 years marketing or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, execution, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, resourceful, creative, and results-oriented.
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive in past-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate across cross-functional team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency/Communications firm experience
  • Experience with agency management and traffic software (Workamajig)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Apple software
