Paragon shares consumer insights to help guide economic recovery for Memphis businesses

Paragon is a different kind of bank, rooted in – and rooting for – the Memphis community. Bankers at Paragon believe that small and mid-size businesses deserve a local financial partner who cares about their success. The Outlook Memphis Economic Study is just one example of how Paragon Bank supports the local business community.

For three years, Paragon Bank has provided business owners with data and key insights about consumer experiences and how they view the local economy via the Outlook study.

Over the last year, COVID-19 has had an extraordinary effect on our economy. The 2020 study includes new survey data and analysis to uncover how COVID has affected consumers’ shopping habits and their outlook on the economy.

Understanding that many local businesses are worried about how to navigate the new normal, we emphasized the new survey data relating to COVID-19 when promoting the study.

A lead generation page on bankparagon.com allows members of the Memphis business community to access the study. In an effort to drive Memphis business owners to download the study, we created several digital ads, sent emails to Memphis Business Journal subscribers, and promoted the study across the Paragon social media channels. With more than 230 downloads to date, many local businesses are already putting the data to work to help guide their COVID recovery plans.

Each of the three Outlook studies has been authored by John Gnuschke, Ph.D. and senior economist. You can download the latest study at bankparagon.com/study.
