inferno helps the Exchange Club “Get in the Groove” with Gala Invitations

Each year, as part of our Fuelanthropic efforts to give back to the Memphis community, inferno gets to work with local nonprofits to promote their services. We’ve partnered with the Exchange Club Family Center in the past — crafting their annual report, promoting their services, and creating invitations for the annual Hands of Hope Auction Party.

This year, the Exchange Club Family Center hosted the Hands of Hope Auction Party at the Halloran Centre in the heart of Downtown. With that in mind, Memphis’s musical heritage became the driving theme behind our creative collateral.

We designed the invitation to be a unique, attention grabbing piece that recipients would want on display leading up to the party. The front of the card was inspired by vintage blues records, and we even added a vinyl peeking out of the right-hand “sleeve” to mimic the experience of pulling out the record as you read liner notes.

At the event, partygoers enjoyed live and silent auctions and local beer from Memphis Made Brewing Co, wines donated by Cooper Mountain Winery, as well as live music from Earnestine and Hazel’s Band. The event was a booming success and raised close to $170,000!

Approximately 400 guests attended the event, and all the money raised will assist children and families in the Memphis community suffering from the tragedies of child abuse and family violence.
