MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 28, 2019 – inferno, a full-service advertising, public relations, design and digital marketing firm, has appointed Roc Johnson as director of digital services.

As director of digital services, Johnson is responsible for managing the digital services department at inferno, while also supervising the design, programming, development and management of all interactive projects.
Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts in music business from the University of Memphis and went on to study multimedia at San Francisco State University. He began his web development and design career in 1995 as chief web designer and developer at Sossaman & Associates. Johnson later became managing partner at Johnson and Graber, LLC, while also freelancing for notable clients such as World Bank, National Geographic, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, FedEx, Smith & Nephew, Hilton Worldwide, DC.gov, IRS.gov, The Discovery Channel, Food Network and HGTV.
In addition to his freelance work, Johnson has extensive experience in the healthcare field. He served as director of web services for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare for several years, where he played an integral role in the hospital network’s digital evolution. During his tenure, Methodist became one of the first healthcare systems in the nation to partner with Google Indoor Maps and launch mobile first and responsive design websites. Most recently, Johnson served as manager of web engineering for Healthgrades in Raleigh, North Carolina.
