The Campbell Foundation Finds Heart in the Highlands

Pro-bono efforts mean a lot to inferno, and we often create some of our favorite work for important causes that are close to home. The recent Campbell Scotch Whiskey Tour benefitting the Campbell Foundation and Footprints in Motion was no exception.

The annual auction party raises awareness and funds to promote orthopaedic health and community outreach in the U.S. and underserved areas around the world. Our task was to come up with a great theme for a great cause.

After we learned about the Campbell heritage in Campbeltown, Scotland — a prominent city in the history of Scotch whiskey — we knew exactly what the event needed: plaid, lots of plaid.

Our print ad invited guests to “Party like a Scot” by enjoying some of the finest whiskeys paired with Memphis cuisine. We also created an auction booklet that doubled as a Scotch-ish passport, allowing guests to collect fun stamps representing different regions of Scotland at each tasting table.

With everything from distillery tours to Memphis Grizzlies gear on the auction block, the event was a big success and raised more than $80,000. The foundation immediately put the money to use, equipping a team of residents on a medical mission to Honduras, where they saw more than 500 patients and performed 60 surgeries.
