THE EXCHANGE CLUB
As inferno’s longest-standing pro bono client, The Exchange Club Family Center holds a special place in the hearts of the inferno staff. More than 500 hours of account service, creative, production, and PR are donated to the Memphis non-profit each year in support of the Center’s mission to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect by replacing abusive and violent behavior with effective parenting skills. Partner Dan O’Brien also serves as Vice President of The Exchange Club Family Center’s Board of Directors.
The Exchange Club Family Center has experienced consistent and significant growth since its inception in 1984. With this progress came disjointed messaging and a lack of clear, concise identity for the burgeoning non-profit. The result was no definitive brand and very little awareness of the Center’s mission and goals.
The Exchange Club Family Center needed a core brand statement and identity that focuses on the benefits of the Center’s services to victims of child abuse and family violence. inferno rebranded The Exchange Club Family Center with a colorful logo that conveys hope and family. Although the Center offers a vast and diverse slate of programs, the tagline “Helping Children. Healing Families.” clearly and concisely encompasses their mission. Upon development of the new brand identity and the suite of marketing material, there was a steady increase of donations to the Center along with more volunteers and awareness of the services offered by the Center in the entire Mid-South community.
